DirectAdmin vs. Virtualmin for a new VPS setup—which one is better? I’m looking for a balance between low resource usage and having deep administrative control over the system.

What’s better for a VPS setup — Virtualmin or DirectAdmin?

It really depends on what you want from your server. A VPS with DirectAdmin is usually the easier and more lightweight option. It’s fast, uses fewer resources, and is pretty straightforward for managing domains, emails, SSL, and databases without much hassle.
Virtualmin, on the other hand, gives you much deeper control over the system, almost like full server administration through a web interface. It’s powerful but can feel more complex and less beginner-friendly. So in short: DirectAdmin is better if you want simplicity and performance, while Virtualmin is better if you want maximum control and don’t mind a steeper learning curve. |
