All Teachers Are Marketers

I’ve talked about the expo we’re having at our college before. I have even suggested that you . Now it’s time to show you how we’re planning to get people to come to the expo.
We’re opening the doors to the public, and we’re telegram data giving awesome lectures for free. That’s not all, but the lectures will be the main attraction. And we’re creating videos to let people know about them.
I’m so proud that we have teachers who are looking forward to do videos with me. And the students who are creating them are just amazing.

Let me show you one of the videos. It’s actually in English.

I have a question for you. It’s not about new years resolutions, but it’s close. It’s an end of the year question, and it might be a life changing question for some.
But first I’m at my office. It’s Friday evening. It’s dark outside, and I’m all alone. I’m, and I’m realizing that I’m writing this short story at the end of 2011, it’s just a few more weeks left of the year. I have been dreaming about money lately. It’s a result of the few weeks before Christmas syndrome; shopping for gifts, watching all the stressed out people and that I’m seeing advertisements everywhere. I even wrote that.

I have been for more than a year. I’m still not finished.
But, I might get it done before the end of the year. When I write I’m in a different state of mind, it’s like I’m in a completely different world. In this world, I’m in total control. I can do whatever I want to do, and I have as much time as I want, and I have as much money as I want. I am in total control.
I just left my office. I’m walking outside, looking at the people running from store to store with shopping bags in their hands, and I’m thinking about how much. I never analyze my dreams, but dreaming about money is different, and the people I’m looking at seems to be unhappy right now. It seems that they’re unhappy, doing everything they’re expected to do and then some, so they can be happy at Christmas.

That’s when I realize what I want to ask you.

Think about it for a moment, and let’s discuss:
Do you believe that if you have 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, to do whatever you want, would you discover your passion, create a business from it, and earn enough money to make a decent living?

Think about it for a few more minutes.

I am eating pizza (again)
I couldn’t help it. As I was watching people walking in and out of stores, I discovered a sign. The sign of a pizza. That was all I really needed. Sometimes all I really need is the smell. I walked inside. I ordered a vegetarian pizza. I started talking to the owners. The restaurant is amazing. The chef is from Italy, his wife is Norwegian, and they are the only two people working there. The food is fantastic, the atmosphere is… it’s like watching Sleepless in Seattle and we’re all crying because it’s so darn romantic. The couple is in love, they’re spending all their time together. They’re smiling, they’re passionate. It seems like they have all the time in the world, and the place is packed with people.
And that’s when I realize that I might be on to something, a formula so complex that it’s taken most people a lifetime to understand it.
Passion + Time = Money = Happiness
Is that it?
