Arc Raiders Update stops you from getting out of bounds, and being shot through walls. However, players are disappointed that Embark is still not addressing a progress bug "that has been in the arc raiders blueprints since launch."
Embark Studios released the latest Arc Raiders patch to fix a bug which pushed players outside of bounds, as well other irritating issues. As worthwhile as this may be, some players will not be happy to find out that a bug affecting their progression still exists.
arc raiders coins has released a new patch that fixes a glitching exploit on Stella Noctis. This was caused by the zipline. A method for falling through a Blue Gate's wall has also been sorted out, as has the issue of players being shot through walls at Spaceport Launch Tower.
The community would like to see Embark address something else. Reddit user says: "I'm glad to see that these fixes have been made, but my heart goes out to those still experiencing expeditions with bugs." "Crazy that the expedition bug is still not fixed, even if [it] means to reset the progression," says another.
The players have plateaued early on certain maps. They are stuck in the early stages of progression on some maps no matter how many games they play. They still haven't fixed this bug. Another Redditor comments that the bug has been present since launch. Later, they specify that they are stuck at The Spaceport stage 2.
Embark explains in the patch that an even more comprehensive update will arrive on December 17th. "We are preparing for the larger Cold Snap Update coming on December 17th and it will have many different fixes that we've been working on, along with all of the new goodies," states the studio.
It's hoped that this will give everyone a chance to make proper progress. You won't, however, be beaming through concrete on any map.
While timed explosives are powerful, they will not help you much if your opponent is a player
Heavy Fuze Grenades can be thrown at Arc Robots with no problem. They have no instinct to defend themselves. You should aim for the area where they will be to take into account their movement and detonation time. For players, however, the situation is different. They are better at evading. Slow explosives are best used to force people out of hiding. Light Impact Grenades and cleverly placed mines will do more damage than Snap Blast Grenades to humans.
The community culture of solo games is different from that of team games
Although not officially guaranteed or acknowledged, Arc Raiders solo games are generally regarded as more passive and peaceful by the community. In solo matches, players tend to ignore other players, form teams, collaborate and generally treat all the servers as one team. Team matches are much more aggressive. Teams can still join forces, but there's more violence. The community also seems to think that everyone is in a giant deathmatch.
Be sure to understand the value of your loot before disposing of it
Arc is a treasure trove of loot. From pillows to lemons to gears that are rusted, there's plenty to find. There are so many items to choose from (all of which are important), and some Arc items can be worth more than they appear. They're often linked to quests or upgrades, such as the Arc Raiders Eyes of the Prize quest, so it's very easy to underestimate their value.
Before you decide to sell or scrap any items, check out the Arc Raiders Loot Guide. The Arc Raiders Loot Cheat Sheet tells you exactly what to do with each non-crafted item and whether it should be sold, scrapped or saved.
