WoW Classic Drop Profession
#1
To unlearn a profession in World of Warcraft Classic, follow these steps:
  1. Log in to the game with the character whose profession you want to unlearn.
  2. Open the character menu, or press the "K" key to open the Skills tab.
  3. In the Skills section, find the profession you want to unlearn.
  4. Click the "Unlearn this profession" button next to the profession. The button appears as a red "O" cancel button.
Unlearning a profession is necessary because the number of primary professions you can have at one time is limited. Players may want to change professions to try something new or because they initially chose the wrong profession. When you unlearn a profession, you lose all skill points associated with it.
In WoW Classic, professions are a key part of the game, providing a primary means of making gold and offering powerful gear. There are primary and secondary professions. Primary professions take up a primary slot, and only two can be learned at a time. Secondary professions do not have restrictions. Crafting professions use materials obtained through gathering professions to create items. Gathering professions involve gathering items from the world.
Some professions are better suited for certain classes. Professions that create armor work well with the classes that can use that armor type. Blacksmithing is good for plate wearers like Warriors and Paladins; Leatherworking is good for leather wearers like Rogues and Druids; and Tailoring is good for cloth wearers. It also makes sense to pair a crafting profession with the relevant gathering profession.

In WoW Classic, professions are an integral part of the game and an excellent way to make WoW Gold. Some professions can help to make items that you will use for raiding and PvP. If your primary goal is to make WoW Gold, some professions are better than others. Skinning is one of the most competitive professions, but has the highest gold making potential by far in phases 1 and 2, where as Alchemy, Herbalism, and Mining are also good choices. On the other hand, crafting professions will not make much WoW Gold early on.

Blacksmithing is used to craft powerful gear and weapons that will be used by level 60 players. Tailoring is mostly used as a means for casters to eventually craft some specific pieces of BoP gear, and less about making WoW Gold Classic. The demand for Weapons and Armor will always be there, so Blacksmiths will not have problems making money. Flasks, Elixirs, and Potions are essential for Raid progression, so the Market for them will always be there, making Alchemy the best WoW Gold making profession.
